UbiesThese terms set out the rules for using the Ubies iPhone app and the ubies.tipper.ae website (together, the “Services”), provided by TIPPER PORTAL L.L.C, trading as Tipper, Office 1402, Property of Abdullah Ahmad Abdullah Al Mousa, Al Sufouh 2, Dubai, UAE (“Tipper”, “we”). By using the Services you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. What the Services are
The website introduces our app. Ubies is a GPS locator that lets members of a family share their location with each other and see it on a map.
2. Getting the app
Ubies will be available on Apple’s App Store. Downloading and installing the app will also be subject to Apple’s own terms and the App Store rules.
3. Sharing location responsibly
You may share and view location only with people who know about it and have agreed to it. You must not use Ubies to follow, watch or track anyone secretly or against their will. For children, a parent or legal guardian decides about and supervises the use of the app.
4. Your account and device
You are responsible for your device, for what happens under your use of the app and for keeping access to it safe. Tell us at support@tipper.ae if you believe someone is using the app in your name.
5. Things you must not do
- break the law or the rights of others through the Services;
- try to get into systems or data you are not allowed to access;
- copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it;
- disrupt the Services, send malware or automated junk traffic.
6. Accuracy of location
GPS and network positioning depend on the device, its settings, the signal and the environment. A location shown in Ubies can be approximate, delayed or unavailable. Ubies is not an emergency service; in an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.
7. Ownership
The app, the website, their design, text, graphics and the Tipper and Ubies names belong to Tipper or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose; no other rights pass to you.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, change or stop parts of the Services. We try to keep them running smoothly but cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors.
9. Liability
The Services are offered “as is”. As far as the law allows, Tipper is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from their use. These terms do not limit any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal information, including location data, is explained in the Privacy Policy.
11. Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If you keep using the Services after that, the updated terms apply.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are handled by the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
